Over the last year, as I have worked with senior practitioners as part of UX-CLC, I’ve realised that the team know a small amount about IA, mostly card sorting to the design of simple navigation. The focus of their work has either been research or interaction design and creating prototypes; not structuring and describing content to support findability.
